Our logistics team plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries to our stores across the nation., Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Site Manager to oversee operations at our warehouse in Stockton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the site, including inventory control, staffing, safety protocols, and efficient distribution of goods.,

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and minimize costs.

  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock.

  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of productivity.

  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules.

  • Utilize data analysis tools to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner.

    As well as the ability to manage on a large scale you must also have:

  • Experience of Site Manager/Director level working for a Logistics/Distribution business

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry expertise to run a world class operation

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to create a people driven culture, with a personable approach

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills

  • The ability to drive performance improvement and be able to think outside the box in order to come up with new innovative ideas

  • The ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders right up to Executive Board level

  • Analytical thinking

  • A sound commercial acumen
