Full Job Description
- Undertake routine servicing of vehicles.
- Undertake clutch replacements.
- Undertake timing belt replacements.
- Diagnose faults with engine management systems and general faults.
- Undertake general repairs to vehicles including MOT repairs.
- Undertake air-conditioning system servicing and repairs - only if F-Gas certified, training provided if not.
- Undertake any other duties as may be reasonable, and which are compatible with the role.
We are looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying repairs and servicing to vehicles and diagnosing faults. This includes inspecting the brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, exhausts, clutches, timing belts, engine work along with engine management diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive systems and a keen eye for detail., NVQ level 3 or equivalent. (E) - A Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points (you will be subject to licence checks). (E)
- Experience in a professional workshop environment. (E)
- Good attention to detail. (E)
- Ability to work as part of a team and by own initiative. (E)
- Own tools. (E)
- F-Gas trained with certificate. (D)
