Full Job Description

We're looking for a technology-focused self starter to support, maintain and optimise our internal systems. Modern cloud-based systems underpin everything we do, but we still need your skills to keep things running smoothly.

Our technology stack is varied, and you'd gain experience with systems including PCs, Chromebooks, conferencing, whiteboard systems and networking hardware.

You'll support our existing Systems Engineer to undertake day to day technical management of our cloud infrastructure spanning Microsoft 365 and Azure, Google Google Workspace and Cloud Platform and Okta, together with operational administration of our own successful SaaS products.

Requirements

  • You'll provide support for user accounts and the use of key business applications, both ongoing maintenance / management and incident management for users. In particular for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, Atlassian products and Zendesk.

  • Maintain accurate inventory of user devices, cloud assets, configuration, access rights and costs.

  • Own asset management process; servicing and troubleshooting hardware as well as managing the onboarding, offboarding and end of life processes for all assets.

  • Maintenance of office equipment will be part of the role, meaning that you will have the opportunity to travel to other offices (Edinburgh, Manchester, London and Utrecht)

  • Support our Security lead with the maintenance of any security related activities including investigations, information security and security best practices.

    Demonstrate empathy with end users, to help them solve their problems.

  • An excellent attitude towards learning and trying new things.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Some prior experience in IT support or systems engineering in companies with cloud usage. You won't be afraid of a new challenge!

  • Hands-on ability with hardware - able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair system configuration issues with physical devices including Windows 10 and Linux PCs, Chromebooks, Video-conferencing systems (Google and Microsoft) and network infrastructure.

  • Device management using Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Intune or Google Workspace.

  • Office suite management using Google Workspace and / or Microsoft 365.
