Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at IMK Automotive Ltd (IMKA). This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure across our two sites: Kettering and Coventry. The ideal candidate has a proactive approach to problem-solving, a hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Modern Workplace, and a willingness to travel between our sites for business support.,
- In-house expert for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 estates, overseeing all aspects of the platforms i.e. Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, Exchange Online/Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, Intune/Endpoint Manager.
- Manage, monitor, and secure cloud services and infrastructure with the latest controls and standards.
- Identify and resolve problems with the cloud infrastructure, staying updated with the latest cloud technologies.
- Implementation & maintenance of firewalls & other suitable controls on the network to protect it from any external risks.
- Provide operational support for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick issue resolution.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies, such as Hyper-V or VMw
- Manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Prioritise tasks and workload effectively, ensuring that critical issues are addressed promptly.
- Display a positive and professional conduct, especially in stressful and fast-paced environments.
- Regularly travel between our two sites to provide business support. A valid UK driving license is a must.
- Demonstrate a desire to learn new technologies and skills to stay updated with industry trends.
Knowledge of EMS technologies, including Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and Conditional Access. - Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and application management concepts.
- Knowledge of SharePoint administration.
- Virtualisation experience (Hyper-V or VMware).
- Proficiency in security best practices and cyber threat mitigation.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead & deliver projects on time and to cost.
- Good communication levels at all levels.
