Full Job Description

In this role you will oversee and input into the creation of effective marketing campaigns, aligned with sales objective and our business priorities. You will be a key part in continually working to further develop and represent our SmartestEnergy brand through evolving our narrative, brand assets and guideline to differentiate and position us to stand-out in the market.,

  • In conjunction with the VP Global Marketing, create and maintain the Annual Marketing Plan and Budget covering global digital marketing activities;

  • Responsible for delivering corporate marketing outputs and providng dedicated marketing support to C&I Sales as their assigned business partner- helping the team achieve their targets and grow their pipeline through lead-generation campaigns;

  • Responsible for overseeing all external campaigns and marketing activities;

  • Work closely with our sales teams to capture and schedule in requests for support throughout the year;

  • Use creative problem-solving skills and knowledge of digital marketing best-practice to identify opportunities to reuse content, drive efficiencies and improve ROI across marketing teams and outputs;

  • Manage, lead and inspire the Marketing Executive(s) to deliver against a busy content calendar and maintain our brand presence;

  • Play an integral role in creating SEO friendly copy and content to support the delivery of the new Global website;

  • Oversee the creation and approval of content (e.g. reports, guides and blog) and input into their development as necessary in line with digital campaign plans. Also ensure the upkeep of corporate/sales collateral;

  • Work closely with the Global Digital Marketing Manager to contribute to out campaign delivery methodology and enhance out use of technology deliver campaigns that actively contribute to sales objectives;

  • Work closely with our Insights Team to ensure we gather and utilise interesting industry and company insights with our collateral and campaigns and accurately report out KPIS;

  • Oversee the annual events calendar to ensure that we maximize value and results from participation in industry events and successfully run our own events;

  • Manage relationships with third parties and related contracts to ensure we operate within budget;

  • Support as necessary with content creation and delivery;

  • Complete additional tasks requested by the VP Global Marketing and/or Senior Global Marketing Manager, including knowledge sharing and support for wider 'Group' companies as requested.

    Experience in progressive digital marketing roles;

  • Hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, website analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Fathom);

  • Experience with project management/delivery (e.g. campaign delivery, marketing projects etc);

  • Design skills (Canva, InDesign etc);

  • Use of Website content management systems (CMS) and use of customer relationship management and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce/Pardot;

  • Managing social media channels and related content strategies.
