Are you ready to tackle a pivotal role in ensuring smooth IT operations within the healthcare sector? Join us at NHS SBS as a Logistics Coordinator, where you'll play a crucial part in coordinating the provision of IT equipment to our dedicated staff across multiple locations.
In this role, you'll oversee various tasks, including new starter processing, leaver processing, and responding to end user requests for IT equipment. With excellent organisational and communication skills, you'll liaise with different departments, suppliers, and couriers to make sure flawless logistics operations. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, possess strong Microsoft Office skills, and are adept at multitasking, we'd love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing:
- New starter processing - coordinating the build and delivery of laptops and peripherals to new starters
- Leaver processing - arranging the collection of IT equipment from individuals leaving NHS SBS employment
- End user requests - coordinating deliveries of peripherals, hardware and software to end users where requested
- Liaison with other SBS departments, suppliers and couriers about collections, deliveries and any queries
- Recording and tracking hardware and monitoring stock of laptops and peripherals
- Excellent organisational skills
- Superb communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and react to change
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) PC literacy (ideally Windows 10)
- Crafting and maintaining process documentation
- Creating end user guides
- Experience with SharePoint
- Use of IT Service Management tools eg TopDesk
- ITIL awareness
- Excellent organisational skills
