(12 months FTC - potential to go perm)

Basildon, Essex (3 days per week office/2 days per week home)

    About the role:

    Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, this is an exciting and varied role in which you will be delivering high quality HR Generalist support, drive HR processes, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, and reporting to the wider business.

    Main responsibilities & duties:

  • Supporting the HR Director with HR administration and HR presentations.

  • Supporting the HR team with general HR projects.

  • Employee administrative processes including contracts, references and right to work checks, promotions and reference checking.

  • Accurate HR system data entry with maintenance of electronic employee files.

  • Monitoring data quality/accuracy and compliance with GDPR regulations.

  • Monitoring holidays, probationary periods, sickness/absence.

  • Supporting regular internal reporting, designing and running reports for the wider business.

  • Administration of apprenticeship levy scheme, liaising with external providers.

  • Business partnering with relevant stakeholders, supporting with all HR related queries and correspondence.

  • Supporting on HR projects and initiatives as required.


  • About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business and related subjects, or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced user skills in MS Excel.

  • Strong IT skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of HR systems (ideally as a super user or system administrator).

  • Success factors or Workday experience would be advantageous.

  • HR experience gained in a commercial business.

  • Experience of presenting data and HR analytics confidently to senior level managers.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and numerical aptitude.

  • Ability to provide HR data and statistical information to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Analytical, able to extract data and run reports.
