This is a fantastic time to join our RE Department as the Head of RE as we welcome another new cohort to our Edgar Wood family in 2024. Our first ever Y10 GCSE class will commence their GCSE studies in the autumn term and therefore there is a real opportunity to contribute to shaping our curriculum, so it enthuses and engages our pupils. Our state-of-the-art building provides wonderful facilities in which the subject can be delivered.

The school has recently moved into a modern, state-of-the-art building, with stunning views of the local countryside, but within easy access of several motorway links. Edgar Wood Academy have an extensive enrichment programme which will ensure that all pupils are engaged in a curriculum suffused with memorable experiences and rich opportunities for learning.

Edgar Wood Academy is part of the Altus Education Partnership and as such our staff benefit from a wide range of support and development within a collaborative community.
