Full Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to spearhead our Group digital transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving organisational change and innovation, leveraging digital technologies to enhance our operations, processes, and customer experiences.

Digital Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals, leveraging technology to drive growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage.

Change Management: Lead organisational change initiatives to foster a digital-first mindset across the company, including culture, processes, and capabilities, promoting agility, collaboration, and innovation.

Technology Integration: Identify, evaluate, and implement digital technologies and solutions to streamline operations, automate processes, and enhance productivity across functions, such as ERP systems, CRM platforms, AI, IoT, and cloud services.

Data-Driven Insights: Harness the power of data analytics and business intelligence to derive actionable insights, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in performance, customer engagement, and profitability.

Customer Experience Enhancement: Champion the enhancement of digital customer experiences across all touchpoints, including websites, mobile apps, social media, and customer service channels, to deliver personalised, seamless, and engaging interactions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including business units, IT, marketing, operations, and finance, to align digital initiatives with business objectives, prioritise investments, and ensure successful implementation and adoption.

Innovation Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging creative thinking, risk-taking, and learning from failures, to drive breakthrough digital solutions and stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.

Digital Talent Development: Attract, develop, and retain top digital talent, building a high-performing team with the skills and capabilities needed to execute digital transformation initiatives effectively and drive sustainable growth.

Governance and Compliance: Establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards for digital initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy, security best practices, and ethical considerations.

Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and impact of digital transformation efforts, regularly reporting results to senior leadership and stakeholders, and making adjustments as needed.

  • Proven experience (5 years) in digital transformation leadership roles, driving significant organisational change and delivering measurable business results.

  • Deep understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices across industries, with hands-on experience in digital strategy development, technology integration, and change management.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, analytical problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Experience in project management, agile methodologies, and stakeholder engagement, with a track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, data privacy, cybersecurity, and risk management principles related to digital transformation.

  • Experience in industries undergoing digital disruption is a plus.

    This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking.
