Full Job Description

European Camping Group are now recruiting for a Group Commercial Analyst to provide analytical support to the Commercial Intelligence function. In this value creation role, you will play a key part in informing and supporting decision-making through analysing and interpreting commercial data, with the purpose of guiding the business towards or ahead of its revenue target. The role will require a broad understanding of all elements of the Commercial function, excellent communication with key stakeholders, and a flexible approach towards the workload of the department. This role will report into the Head of Commercial Intelligence.,

  • Analyse and interpret trading performance, including volume, revenue, price and occupancy data, to identify trends, risks and opportunities for revenue growth as well as optimising profit for the group.


  • Support the budgeting and reforecast exercises performed throughout the year.


  • Enhance the capability of trading performance investigation through the development of new and existing Tableau dashboards.


  • Update and distribute key Commercial reporting to the wider business in a timely manner.


  • Work closely with the Revenue Management teams to provide insight and analysis with the aim of enabling better pricing and source market/channel distribution decisions to be made.


  • Harmonise data along with the group data team to ensure consistency and that only one version of the truth exists.


  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships across various teams within the group.

    Demonstrated experience of working in an analytical role (2 years +).


  • Analytical mindset with enthusiasm for data analysis and a curiosity to understand trends and patterns.


  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, with ability to interpret large volumes of data.


  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, with ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders.


  • Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.


  • Preferred
  • Previous use of BI software, particularly Tableau.


  • A relevant degree level qualification.


  • Experience in the holiday or travel industry.

    Salary £30-£35k dependent on experience.
