General Practitioner

Our General Practitioners are extremely valued and are well respected members of the Prison Healthcare community. We deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.

As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. You will also provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.
The working hours are: 6 sessions per week (3 days - 24 hrs per week) - currently Monday, Wednesday and Friday but sessions and days can be negotiated You'll receive an annual salary up to 130,000 FTE per annum depending on experience., If you are interested in career development we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning and access to our apprenticeship schemes.

• Qualified GP
