Family Law Paralegal

The role is to provide direct support to the Department Head.,

• To assist with the costing of and billing of Legal Aid files, preparation of files for external costing and billing fixed fee work


• To develop and maintain good client contact relationships and enhance the firm's client base by effective liaison with existing clients.


Assisting the Fee earners and or Partners by gathering information for cases and attending clients.

• Deal with research, document drafting and client interviews as per the Fee Earners and or Partners instructions.


• Preparation of correspondence and documents through typing and word processing.


• To administer day to day filing which includes the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual.


• Attending Hearings both Online and in Person


To do all such things which are in the reasonable opinion of the firm, ancillary, necessary and conducive to the role and responsibilities.

You are required to be self-motivated and able to organise your own workload with minimum supervision after suitable training
