Electrician - Fire & Security Sector

As a Fire & Security Engineer at Beacon Detection, you'll be responsible for:

• Installing fire and security systems in both domestic and commercial settings, in accordance with industry standards and regulations.


• Conducting preventive maintenance on fire and security systems.


• Undertaking works primarily within South Wales and Powys.

Are you an electrician with experience in either domestic or commercial settings, eager to expand your technical expertise in the field of Fire and Security?,
• City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent with AM2.


• 2391 Inspection and testing or equivalent.


• 18th Edition Amd 2.


• Capable of first fix containment, including basket, trunking, and conduit (both PVC and galvanised).


• 3-years site experience.


• Positive and pro-active nature.


• High standard of workmanship.


• Good IT skills.


• Have the ability to fault find and remain calm under pressure.


• Enjoy practical working as part of a team or individually.


• Clean and tidy appearance


• Be able to communicate effectively both orally and written.


• A full and clean driving licence is required for this vacancy.


• You will be subject to security screening to ensure suitability for this role.


• Must be willing to learn, constantly improve and progress within the company - Training will be provided in-house and externally to assist with progression in the industry and at Beacon.
