Full Job Description
- Build and maintain the online product catalogue, ensuring accurate and appealing product descriptions, images, and pricing
- Optimising product categories online including search results, optimisation rules, product sort order, promotional banners and product recommendations to make it simple for customers to browse, find and purchase products.
- Optimise product listings for search engines (SEO) and Paid Search to enhance visibility and drive traffic.
- Continuously strive to improve site navigation, product findability, and overall user experience.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure a seamless shopping experience and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to create engaging product pages and promotional content. Communicate product insights and customer feedback to relevant departments for continuous improvement.
- Be a main point of contact for other teams to resolve any issues on-site impacting the online experience quickly and efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Implement best practices in digital merchandising to maintain a competitive edge.
- Contribute to the development and testing of new customer-facing features.
- Working closely with a tight-knit team to ensure the job gets done.
We have ambitious digital sales growth plans involving multiple store fronts. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital commerce and the customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity to develop the merchandising function as Mediq's e-commerce grows., We are looking for someone ideally with experience in a similar role. Creating digital product content is preferable, however this is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to utilise their transferable skills and enter the world of digital commerce., Strong written language skills with meticulous attention to detail for producing high-quality content. - Exceptional organisational and time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workload and achieve deadlines.
- IT proficient with strong knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of E-commerce platforms to manage and optimise online stores.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, PPC, and social media.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles
- Knowledge of Google Analytics would be advantageous but not essential
