Development Manager, Public Leisure

We are looking for a Development Manager in our Place Development Team who will focus on Public Leisure.
A key element within our 10-year Strategy - Uniting the Movement is our commitment to work through Place, Creating Active Environments and supporting Public Leisure facilities to be more community focused and evolve to an active wellbeing service.

Role Purpose:
To encourage and advocate the future of public leisure approach with local authorities and key sector stakeholders to work collaboratively across the sector to support the development of an Active Wellbeing service which is better connected to community need and focused on addressing access and health inequalities through activity.

To manage the implementation of the Moving Communities Facilities and Place services aimed at supporting active partnerships, local authorities and partners working in place to gather direct delivery data to evidence impact as part of the wider Place Evaluation and Learning Framework.
