Full Job Description
- Develop engineering design solutions from first concepts through to full detail drawing.
- Use Autodesk Inventor and AutoCad to design and create models and drawings.
- Design of special purpose machinery for the Food and Life Science industries.
- Maintain BOM's and Parts lists and other supporting documentation.
- Provide guidance and support during the manufacture, build and commissioning, including at customer sites.
- Liaise with customers to establish a clear design brief and ensure completed systems meet the full requirements.
Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering. - Proven track record in mechanical design setting.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (experience in other packages also considered).
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Competence in specifying motor drives, pneumatics components.
- Familiarity with machine automation and motion control principles.
