Full Job Description

  • Support the Outpatient Manager in ensuring the provision of appropriate clinical and managerial leadership throughout the department

  • Assist in the operational delivery of outpatient services ensuring the efficient running of the department, this will include clinical work within the department

  • Deliver key quality performance and financial plans and service enhancements

  • Seek and employ innovative methods of improving service delivery in line with the 5 CQC Key Lines Of Enquiry

  • To ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice

  • Lead by example in providing excellent patient care

  • Training and developing more junior team members, 24 consulting rooms

  • 39 beds

  • 5 theatres

  • 6 treatment rooms

  • 8 day care beds/seats

  • 6 private rooms with seats

  • 6 chemotherapy bays/beds

  • Pharmacy

  • 2 MRI

This is nursing as it should be., As a Deputy Outpatient Manager at The Holly Hospital, you will be registered with the NMC will have the relevant qualifications and experience as well as possessing excellent leadership skills. You will have significant post-registration experience in a busy Outpatient setting and be confident in coordinating clinics for the care of patients across a wide range of specialities such as, Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology, Urology, in addition to nurse led areas such as the dressing and cardiac clinics.

    The Holly Hospital | Outpatients | Permanent | Full time | 37.5hrs | Department opening hours Monday - Friday 8am - 9pm / Saturday 8am - 2pm, For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you'll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
