Serenity Specialist Care is a small, child focused children's home organisation that has been running for nearly 10 years and has 2 homes in the east area of Birmingham.

We look after children from the ages of 7-17 who have emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and are looking for dynamic, dedicated, child focused people to join us to support our amazing young people on their journey to adulthood. No two days will be the same in the role and you will be a lead person in the children's life offering them support, guidance and making amazing memories.

Looked after children and care leavers unfortunately face a number of challenges that children outside of the care system do not. Whether it be reduced employment opportunities, increased in involvement with the justice system or living in poverty as adults, the negative outcomes faced by children in the care system is stark.

At Serenity we aim to redress some of these inequalities and we look to equip our young people with the opportunity, resilience, structure and boundaries to empower them and equip them with the skills that they need to thrive into adulthood.

We believe that children and young people thrive only when they feel that the people around them genuinely care for their wellbeing and are interested in spending time with them, getting to know them as individuals and providing them with the support they need to overcome their individual challenges.

We are looking for people who share these values to come and work for us and become part of your young people's journey to get amazing outcomes for our children.
