Full Job Description

  • Provide a continual and effective service within the Department, fulfilling key tasks as required

  • To maximise efficiencies and quality, and minimise waste

  • Follow all quality systems and procedures within the Department

  • Ensure compliance with all existing systems, standards and procedures within the specific work area to satisfy both company and customer requirements - including ISO quality, hygiene, health & safety and environmental standards

  • Work effectively and efficiently as part of a cohesive team


  • As one of our Cut and Crease Minders, you will ensure:
  • The high quality of cut and creased work

  • Full compliance with ISO and BRC standards as well as standard operating procedures

  • That the machine is running at its optimum at all times to maximise efficiencies

  • All information relating to the machine output is recorded correctly on the shop floor data system

  • Machine maintenance and cleaning are carried out as per the schedule

    The Cut & Crease department is recruiting for a skilled Cut & Crease Minder. You will need to have a minimum of 3 years experience and be able to make ready, run a Bobst 106 Expertcut & Heidelberg MasterMatrix or similar machine, full training will be given to their optimum efficiency., Recent, relevant and proven machine minder experience, specifically in Bobst 102, 104 and 106 flat-bed die cutting.


  • Ability to:
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, which may include some lifting of heavy tooling and other items

  • Work under pressure whilst looking for continual improvements;

  • Act on own initiative and adapt quickly to change;

  • Understand and carry out instructions.

  • Be flexible


  • Must be able to:
  • Work well within a small team with good listening and communication skills;

  • Work unsupervised with a flexible approach to working hours.

  • Highly reliable person with honesty and integrity.

  • Have good computer and literacy skills.
