Full Job Description

This position manages a team of Copywriters, all of whom are responsible for creating high-performing e-commerce copy to support the sale of END. products. The Copy Manager oversees the creation and optimisation (through SEO implementation) of e-commerce website content to improve search engine rankings.
What you'll be doing, + Working as part of the end-to-end Studio Workflow process, the team crafts a target number of engaging, accurate and informative product and brand descriptions as quickly and as efficiently as possible - and in the END. tone of voice - to ensure a best-in-class retail experience. Working with an external agency, this role is responsible for fronting the delivery and execution of an AI tool to aid, and generate, the Copywriters' output of e-commerce product descriptions making the team more efficient.
+ The Copy Manager is responsible for working closely alongside the Digital Team and SEO Lead to help deliver optimised Paid Ad copy as well as creating written content for CX campaigns on an ad hoc basis.
+ Copy team performance, budget and day-to-day operations.
+ Ensuring SEO strategic projects and growth are being delivered, Driving SEO conversion through the creation of varying on-site content types, Driving organic traffic to the site through keyword optimisation, Working alongside the SEO Lead to execute projects that evaluate technical SEO needs, Balance the needs of SEO driven content with e-commerce descriptions effectively and stay up to date with Google releases and updates that could change the SEO climate.
+ Implementing and retain AI efficiency within the team to drive TTS (Time to Site) down and efficiency up.
+ Assisting CX, Performance Marketing, Category Managers and wider business with key-related content projects.
+ Defines, communicates and manages the copy team processes, systems and tools, owning the copywriting style guide as an evolving document to fit studio and business needs.
+ Ensuring team quality levels and continuous improvements that drive an exceptional customer retail experience.
+ Planning and forecasting to deliver on agreed targets and business needs.
+ Resource managing staff to oversee the team's plans, schedules and priorities to efficiently achieve objectives and targets.
+ Performance managing copy staff to create culture that attracts, retains, motivates and rewards people, according to the END. people management framework.
+ Coaching and mentoring Copywriters to provide support and guidance and develop skill sets.
+ Reporting and analysis to provide relevant, timely and accurate data to drive performance, SEO and decision-making.
+ Building strong relationships across the business to support team objective, with particular focus on the Digital Team, Translations Team (Producing multilingual content) and collaborating with other Studio Team Managers to ensure efficient and aligned workflow process.
+ Creating team training and development plans and leading on team recruitment and on-boarding.

+ Team management experience with a proven track record of driving performance in a small to mid-sized team
+ Writing and sub-editing experience, with impeccable language and grammar skills
+ Excellent knowledge of the fashion industry and commercially aware to maximise conversion
+ Excellent understanding and appreciation of the END. customer profiles
+ Experience developing teams and processes (preferably in a Studio-based context) in a controlled and efficient manner, whilst working to tight deadlines
+ High commercial awareness with excellent product knowledge and passion for the fashion industry
+ Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
+ Professional qualification or extensive practical knowledge gained through experience
