Position: Compliancy Controller
Contract Type: Permanent /full time (40 hours per week)
Location: Ryton on Dunsmore

Salary: £30,399.00

About the role:

As Compliancy Controller, you are responsible for the control and auditing of the daily compliancy processes falling within the responsibility of the Ryton Control Room. Working a variety of shifts, including nights, this person will be a dedicated, neutral, "go to" resource, not directly involved in the frontline operation or aligned to any particular shift. This position will provide an ideal opportunity to gain transport knowledge and experience with the possibility to study for the nationally recognised CPC road transport qualification.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong planning and organisational skills

  • The ability to make decisions within the given framework

  • Having a good eye for detail

  • Ideally able to communicate at all levels with experience in administration.

  • Ability to work on own initiative, at times under pressure, with a 100% focus on success is essential!!

  • A positive attitude

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Technical aptitude

  • Good airfreight and Customs knowledge is advantageous

  • Sort process knowledge is advantageous

  • Sound knowledge of DHL network and Operational activities

  • Methodical and analytical

  • A relevant qualification in IOSH and Health & Safety compliance
