Full Job Description

Our service user is a female who is quadriplegic and has various complex healthcare conditions. She requires support at all times and currently relies on those around her to attend to her needs.

In this position, you will work alongside a small health and social care team to assist with epilepsy support, moving and handling, personal care tasks, PEG care and feeding, constant monitoring and intervention.

24-hour shifts (08:00 - 08:00).

As a Community Care Worker you'll have an ability to provide care delivered with compassion and enthusiasm, while contributing positively to an individual's physical and emotional wellbeing. You'll need:

  • At least 6 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK

  • The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility

  • A valid Moving and Handling certificate

  • The right to work in the UK

  • Applicants must hold a valid driver's licence and have reliable access to a personal vehicle
