Colorectal Clinical Nurse Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic nurse to join our colorectal nursing team. The post holder will play a pivotal role in the functioning of the Colorectal Nursing Service and be a key member of the team working to deliver a high quality patient experience., The post holder will be required to provide holistic care and support to patients and their families affected by colorectal cancer/benign disease and stoma formation. You will provide specialist nursing advice and facilitate care throughout the patient pathway while acting as the patients advocate.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and experienced, who enjoys both patient contact and working as part of the MDT. They will be expected to participate in decision making, education of patients and staff, research and service development. Due to the nature of the role we are looking for a dependable and highly adaptable individual who is able to work independently and has the ability to fit in quickly as part of a team.
