Full Job Description

Working for Global Insurance Management Limited you will be a part of the Claims team. To provide a service to policyholders & clients in settling valid claims in accordance with the appropriate policy wording and agreed insurer and Company procedures. This position will cover Mechanical, Electrical , High Voltage claims and also GAP Insurance programs.

Main Tasks

1. Able to work accurately and confidently as part of the team being able to handle incoming claims in a courteous and efficient manner and within agreed SLA's for Phone and electronic submissions.

2. Follow agreed procedures relevant to each policy type to ensure that the appropriate evidence and documentation is obtained to allow settlement of claims within service and technical standards.

3. Provide such support and assistance to policyholders as may reasonably be required.

4. Register claims and ensure any correspondence is attached to the claim electronically. With clear and concise notes added to the claim with clear actions taken.

5. Accurately process of all Claim Payments in a timely manner.

6. Liaise with insurers as necessary in accordance with agreed insurer procedures.

7. Following agreed procedures in respect of training and competence
8. Any other duties, which the Company may reasonably require.

9. Ensuring that the customer experience is at the heart of everything you do, always treating customers fairly.

10. Collaborate with your colleagues and the wider business to drive the correct outcome for our customers.

Key Responsibilty:

Claim handling and payments in all Types of Insurance claims for the Automotive Industry including GAP

o A good Mechanical, Electical, High Voltage, and technical knowlwdge of all types of motor vehicles including E.V vehicles.

o Applicants must have worked in the Automotive Industry preferably with a Premium Brand, but not essential

o Be able to build good relationships with all colleagues, including those in other offices and countries.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and high level of attention to detail.

o Be a pro-active learner with a desire to develp.

o IT Literate confident using a range of programmes, email, word, and in particular have intermediate skills in Excel

o Ability to work as a team player, collaborate effectively and focus on delivery and achieving team goals.

o To work efficiently, to tight deadlines and prioritize workload.

o Requires carefull attention to detail

o Excellent command of English language both written and verbal

Desirable

o Fluent in either French or German both written and Spoken

Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience

o English and Maths at a minimum of GCSE level

o A minimum of NVQ3 in Automotive Light Mechanical Repair Technology with more than 5 years

o High Voltage Knowledge and Capability in both Repair and Systems

o Core Understanding of Warranty Policy and Procedures from any OEM Manufacturer,
