Position Summary:
As a Production Supervisor for Energizer Auto you are responsible for the day to day running of the production department and the supervising and output of our eight production lines. You will work as part of a close team and help proactively support and lead production, improving our facilities to become world class.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all health and safety of employees on the production area and to support with the process

  • Ensure compliance to the Quality Operating System and coach the team as required.


  • Responsible for achieving required output.

  • Leading key meetings in production (Start up and close out) Assuring Startup & Close-out verification / confirmation tasks are completed.

  • Conduct daily operating system confirmations. Confirm concerns are readily addressed and requirements are met and closed.

  • Perform Standardized Work including production observation and develop and share knowledge.

  • Escalation of team members issues and support to resolve.

  • Completing daily product reports for outputs.

  • Making all adjustments with scrap of products.

  • Using production and scrap dashboards to identify gaps.

  • Deep dive analysis into the issues that arrive from stock differences using MB51 and dashboards.

  • Managing performance and absence.

  • Discuss with planning changes to the plan, work with the team to implement the changes.

  • Making changes to the running order of the plan to ensure there is no lost time

  • Work to escalate production issues effectively and ensuring closure.

  • Versatility charts are completed and gaps are covered.

  • Ensure the close out of issues raised by the team to track solutions.

  • Escalate to the planners once there are changes needed for excessive liquid (more than a pallet) and also concerns on resource requirements.

  • Communicate as required to perform job functions

  • 5s throughout the production area making sure workstations are free of debris and contamination

  • Lead, coach and support Team Leaders to achieve SQDCPME objectives through standardized work

  • Confirm maintenance tasks (critical, predictive and preventive) are completed, confirm effectiveness and identify improvement and/or coach opportunities

  • Work collectively with the teams (production/quality/ maintenance/ warehouse) to ensure they have appropriate materials and supplies to maintain flow.

  • Actively develop, performance manage, and support the team leaders and team members.

  • Develop, verify and maintain training documentation.

  • Carry out any other duties in line with the position as and when required.

    Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to multitask and successfully develop and execute plans in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.

  • Previous experience of driving culture and developing a team.


  • Strong experience adhering to metrics and KPI's around safety, quality, and cost.

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
