Full Job Description

Technicians are based at The Royal Spa Centre with staff, on occasion, being deployed to facilitate events at the Town Hall and Leamington Art Gallery & Museum, to support a wide variety of events and openings throughout the year.

The Royal Spa Centre are looking for skilled and motivated casual technicians to join our friendly Technical team.

Technical experience in a live entertainment venue is desirable but not essential. With the role involving the use of lighting, sound, stage management, AV and flying systems. Working closely with the Technical Manager and Technical Supervisor, the technicians assist and support our diverse range of incoming shows, run cinema screenings.

At the heart of Leamington Spa, the theatre complex is owned and operated by an ambitious local authority, who are working hard to raise Leamington Spa's cultural profile. The venue incorporates a busy main auditorium and studio theatre, both of which are used to stage a diverse programme of professional shows, which includes our highly acclaimed annual pantomime. The Royal Space Centre has a commitment to community events and welcomes amateur productions and private events., Warwick District, is at the heart of Shakespeare's England and comprises the towns of Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, Kenilworth and Whitnash. The district boasts historic castles and buildings with regency architecture, vibrant town centres hosting a lively calendar of events, as well as beautiful parks and gardens. We enjoy links to the M40, M42, M1 and M6, national rail connection and Birmingham International airport. It is one of the most prosperous regions in the country with low unemployment rates.
