Carpet Fitter

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and assembly of structural steel components
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit steel components using hand tools, torches, and welding equipment
- Align and fit steel components using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, and other tools
- Weld or bolt steel components together to assemble structural frameworks

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and fitting
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, climbing, and standing for extended
