Full Job Description

You will join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating

You will be responsible for promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing

You will complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits

Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent people skills

A caring and nurturing attitude

Positive and enthusiastic outlook

Good time management skills

Good written and oral communication skills, Willing to study towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.

A good reason or experience that has drawn them to care.

Live within 20 minutes of the Home

Preferred Requirements

One years' experience of working in a residential or nursing home.

Level 2 Health & Social Care or above.

    A little about Oxenden House

    Oxendon House is located in quaint village of Great Oxendon (3 miles to the south of Market Harborough). The home is set around an attractive country house, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal and dementia care for 43 residents.

    Salary - We pay top quartile market salaries

  • Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, whilst is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group
