Full Job Description
Design Technician will play a crucial role in our design and construction projects. He /she will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate conceptual designs into detailed construction drawings and plans. His/her expertise in CAD software and design principles will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our projects., CAD Drafting: Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create detailed construction drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Design Support: Assist in the development and refinement of architectural and engineering designs under the guidance of senior professionals.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of design changes, revisions, and project specifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Quality Control: Review and verify design drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design-related issues and challenges in a proactive manner.
Technical Proficiency: Stay updated on the latest CAD software tools and design trends to enhance productivity and quality.
· A degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., architecture, engineering technology, drafting).
· Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar applications.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality design documents.
· Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
· Knowledge of construction and architectural principles is a plus.
· Previous experience in a similar role within the design and construction industry is preferred.,
