Are you ready to elevate your accounting career? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant for the Nordics region. In this crucial role, you'll report to the Nordics Financial Accountant and ensure our month-end processes for Nordic entities are seamless, accurate, and complete.

Your Impactful Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing: Handle Purchase and Sales Ledger invoices as needed.

  • Expenses Management: Process and verify credit card expenses efficiently.

  • Payment Runs: Manage and execute smooth payment runs.

  • Supplier Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding of new suppliers.

  • Bank Transactions: Accurately account for all bank transactions.

  • Financial Accounting: Manage prepayments, accruals, IC, and FX accounting meticulously.

  • Reconciliations: Prepare detailed bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Month-End Support: Assist the Financial Accountant with crucial month-end tasks.

  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Tackle tasks as directed by the Head of Group Finance Shared Services and Local Operations Director.

    Qualifications: AAT qualified or foundation level of ACCA preferred.

  • Experience: Proven experience within a corporate finance team.

  • Technical Skills: Competent MS Excel user.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.

  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills.

  • Team Player: An enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.

  • Initiative: Proactive, with a desire to take ownership and use initiative.

  • Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workload, and manage time effectively.
