We have an exciting new opportunity to work within our Apprenticeship Department. The successful candidate will work with apprentices and employers initially in the Berkshire and Hampshire area, but with a view to national coverage, to take responsibility for the development of apprentices and support them through various aspects of their training.

As an Assessor/Trainer in our Engineering department, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing apprentices' skills and guiding them towards success.

As an Assessor/Trainer, you will:

  • Provide support and training to learners within their workplace.

  • Assess learners' competence in alignment with industry and qualification standards.

  • Record assessment outcomes accurately.

  • Assist in preparing learners for their End Point Assessment.

  • Maintain meticulous records for candidates using both written and computer-generated formats.

    Passion for training and development.

  • Relevant Level 4 or above qualifications in engineering disciplines (essential).

  • Assessor qualification (essential)

  • Experience within related industries.

  • Additional qualifications or experience in related fields would be beneficial but are not essential. (Electrical)

  • Team player

  • Willing to travel, While prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, we welcome candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment and willingness to learn. Join us in making a difference in the lives of aspiring engineers., Certificate of Higher Education (required)
