Full Job Description

We are seeking an Architectural Technician to join our team, providing consultancy services to major public sector clients across the North West. The successful applicant will be joining a team who pride themselves on the high quality service levels they provide on an on-going basis to all of our clients., The successful candidate will have an extremely varied role, working across a number of different clients in the delivery of the CAD services. The Practice uses a range of CAD software including Autocad Architectural and Revit and utilises 3D modelling in many of the projects undertaken.

The position will require the use of Revit and, if necessary, training will be provided to allow the candidate to develop the required skill base.

To be successful in applying for this role you should be

  • Experienced in the use of Autocad;

  • Good knowledge of construction / detailing;

  • Some experience in the use of Revit would be beneficial but not essential;

  • Good communication skills;

  • Self-motivated, ambitious and organized;

  • Friendly, flexible approach with a willingness to learn and a "can do" attitude;

  • Problem solving skills;

  • Able to work as part of a close-knit team with a desire to help and support others.

    Established for over 27 years and working primarily in the public sector, the Practice has a varied portfolio of clients including Local Authorities, Fire & Ambulance Services and Schools. Our core services involve the design and management of construction projects whilst additional services include feasibility studies, condition surveys, dilapidations and party wall surveying.

    Salary negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications;

  • A four day working week (Monday to Thursday);
