Full Job Description

You will be a part of our team of engineers, who design and produce hydraulic and pneumatic parts, pumps, power units and many more components for the fluid power industry. Your role will include learning how to:

  • Use 3D CAD Software to design hydraulic power units & manifolds.

  • Use 2D & 3D CAD software to prepare fabrication, assembly & general arrangement drawings.

  • Draw hydraulic circuits.

  • Learn about hydraulic systems.

  • Use the business management system to create bills of materials.

  • Assist with manuals & documentation.

  • Assist with department admin tasks

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Experience with CAD, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C) Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 5/B) Essential, Candidate must have 5 GCSEs, including maths at a grade 5/B or above. The role is mainly office based, however it is anticipated the role will involve a small amount of shop floor work to gain a better understanding and experience of the overall business
