Full Job Description

- Preparing and posting month end journals
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and produce Annual statutory accounts
- Assisting with preparation of month end management accounts for multiple entities
- Identifying variances, and analysing trends
- Monthly & Quarterly VAT returns
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Process payroll using Sage 50 Bright pay.
- Handle pensions and PAYE submissions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Proficiency in Accounting packages sage, iris, and other relevant financial software
- Strong Excel skills
- Assisting with purchase ledger when required

As an Account Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. - Ability to work well as part of a team and be a team player
- Have experience of working in an accounting practice
- Motivated to maintain up to date technical knowledge;
- Conscientious with excellent attention to detail
- Ad-hoc duties, reporting and analysis
- ACCA/CIMA/AAT or Qualified by Experience, Bachelor's (required), Account management: 1 year (preferred)
