Full Job Description

This position will provide project leadership and involve the following tasks/deliverables:

  • Manage a laptop security program, performing a manual replacement of several antivirus/security products

  • Removal, clean and reinstall a new suite of software

  • Review weekly progress and report to the program lead

  • Provide ongoing progress and completion dates

  • Manage a laptop physical swap-out project in order to replace legacy Windows 10 installations with Windows 11

  • Preparation of swap out equipment

  • Organising staff swap out in for our offices and for fully remote staff using couriers to deliver and collect.

  • Supporting the migration of any staff data

  • Ensuring all legacy equipment/builds are obtained and either rebuilt as stock or written off

  • Support the wider IT team with updates on the laptop swap out and security product programs

  • Provide support for any direct issues that arise as part of the laptop or security program (for example faulty hardware comes to light)

  • Produce thorough build, swap, backup/restore and troubleshooting documentation and share with regional IT staff

  • Deploy the central asset management tooling to all group equipment

    Knowledge in Windows 10/11 and Apple Mac installation and configuration

  • Experience with MDM solutions such as Intune, JumpCloud, Mosyle

  • Experience with Security Products such as CheckPoint, Sophos, Countercept, Microsoft Defender

  • Basic scripting abilities, powershell, batch, python

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent organisation skills
